Why should I do a bouoir shoot?


When was the last time you felt good in your own skin? Had a moment just for yourself? Or looked at your own portrait and were amazed by the way you looked?

1) It’s a self-love experience


Boudoir is a celebration of you. Your body and everything about you that makes you special. Who you are inside and out. As women, we sometimes aren’t pleased with the person looking back at us in the mirror and we have an urge to create unrealistic images in our heads of what we should look like. We may even feel the urge to “perfect” ourselves until we reach that goal. 


Right or wrong, we have an image in our heads of what we should look like. Your body tells a story and each image in your boudoir photography shoot represents a chapter of you. No two bodies are the same, and that is what I love most about a woman’s body. Laugh lines, loose skin, freckles, moles, hair color, and a million other features make up the story of you. I want each woman to embrace her body as a work of art.
